Beginner Group "Little Stars"
This course is designed for children aged 5 to 6 years and takes place twice a week for 60 minutes. Each class includes a warm-up that builds flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness, combined with the basics of ballet technique, music, and choreography.
Our beginner gymnastics programs are carefully structured to suit different age groups, giving every child an age-appropriate, fun, and enriching experience that supports both their physical and creative development.
Note: To avoid distractions, parents may not stay in the hall. If your child needs you close, we suggest trying again later.

Competition Group 7 - 18 Years
This program is designed for girls aged 7 to 12 who are preparing to participate in aesthetic group gymnastics and / or rhythmic gymnastics competitions.
In these classes, young gymnasts develop basic acrobatic movements and work on a structured competition program. Training focuses on improving technique, strength, flexibility, and artistic expression, while choreography, musicality, and creativity are essential parts of every lesson.
Each training session lasts 90–120 minutes, held three-four times per week, providing a comprehensive foundation for both personal growth and competitive success.

About us

Vi Fortis Academy, founded in August 2024 in Basel by Kateryna Menghrani, is a dedicated school for Rhythmic Gymnastics and Aesthetic Group Gymnastics for children aged 5 to 12 years.

We believe a gymnastics school should be more than just a place for physical training — it should be an inspiring environment that nurtures growth, creativity, and self-confidence.

Our programs focus on fitness, coordination, and flexibility, while warmly welcoming every child who wishes to discover the fascinating world of movement, artistry, and gymnastics.

Kateryna Menghrani

J+S-certified Head Coach with a Bachelor’s qualification in Rhythmic Gymnastics and an international judging certificate in Aesthetic Group Gymnastics, overseeing the club’s training programme and guiding gymnasts in developing strong technique, discipline and confidence.

Svitlana Prykhodko

J+S-certified coach and Master of Sport in Rhythmic Gymnastics, working with our preparatory group and helping young gymnasts develop strong foundations, confidence and a love for the sport.

Valeriia Fomina

Master of Sport and Ukrainian Champion in Rhythmic Gymnastics, coaching our competitive team and serving as an RG judge while helping gymnasts develop advanced technique, artistry and confidence for competitions.

Vladislava Tofan

Aesthetic Group Gymnastics coach and judge, Master of Sport and senior gymnast representing the German national team, helping athletes develop strong technique, expressive movement, teamwork and performance skills.

Mariia Klinkina

J+S-certified Rhythmic Gymnastics coach and Candidate for Master of Sport, leading one of our preparatory groups and helping young gymnasts develop strong technical foundations, coordination and confidence.

Liubov Riabina

J+S-certified Rhythmic Gymnastics coach and Candidate for Master of Sport, leading one of our preparatory groups and supporting young gymnasts in developing flexibility, body control, discipline and a love for the sport.

Fernando Carrión Caballero

International ballet teacher, former soloist with the Lyon Opera Ballet and Compañía Nacional de Danza, and former Ballet Master and Rehearsal Director at Theater Basel, supporting gymnasts in developing classical technique, posture, musicality and artistic expression.

Anastasiia Baranovych

Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Choreography, shaping the club’s choreographic work and leading our Mini 4+ group, where the youngest gymnasts develop coordination, musicality, body awareness and a love for movement.
